That GP was ridiculously clean. For a Z28 though, that's a nice steal if it were a project car. Was pretty much what I was looking for not too long ago except the red. My S.O. had a dream I went out like Paul Walker in a red car and now she refuses to not give me hell if I consider one.

Man, include that you have service records in the event that you do. People get all warm and fuzzy if they see that mentioned in a private sale. Myself included.

 

good pics are key. as is a car that is prepped for sale - meaning a recent 'detail' where the car is cleaned in/out and no visible junk is left in the car. clear the loose bits all out. if it can't fit in the glovebox or console, ditch it during the sale. that goes for radar detectors or cables/cords as well.

price the car fairly to suit the market and the condition of the car. this is usually less than a used dealer price which is the leverage that a private seller has (no overhead).

draft up a well-written posting. no spelling or grammar errors. provide as much info as is reasonable, and make sure to mention that the service history is up to date and available for review if needed.

sold my last 3 cars privately in less than 3 days each by doing this. each one sold for well above trade-in values and made it more than worth my time to sell privately. the G35 6MT sedan sold in 1 day to the first buyer. the MX6 V6 5MT sold in 2 days to the first buyer. the Jetta VR6 5MT sold in 2 days to the 2nd buyer.
