Questions with mod choices!

Just recently picked up a 2013 G37x with less than 30k miles and I'm stuck on what I want to do with it first. I have a few questions regarding some of the mods I am pursuing.

1. Will I be able to run Hotchki upgraded sway bars with a SPC camber kit? I heard that there is a fitment issue. Are there any other options if I want to run a camber kit with sway bars? (KW coils)

2. The wheels I want to get are the VMR 710's. Will I be able to fit their 19x9.5 +22 offset while being right above the tire without having to pull the fenders? VMR advertises these wheels on a G37 and I'm assuming that these are the size. OR will the 19x8.5 +35 be a better option? I'm trying to go really flush to I'm prepared to at least roll or pinch the fenders a little bit.

3. Has anyone that's running high flow cats have issues with a O2 sensor CEL?

4. Where do I find the non sport front lip and a good trunk deck spoiler (preferably painted) for the low? I have been looking everywhere but not sure which one to pull the trigger on.

5. Lastly, a little question, for you guys running a strut tower bar in the front. Have you guys actually felt a difference in driving or is it mostly for show?

THANK YOU !!!

Also, is the gas door supposed to click open or is mine broken? It doesn't click or anything and I have to push the right side of the door and pull it open...pretty janky..

I cant answer some of those, but the strut tower bar is pretty much a cosmetic thing, and yes the gas door is supposed to be like that. Also, nowhere to get a prepainted trunk spoiler unless you just want to the OEM one, which I think does come painted. Lips don't come painted.

The strut tower is mostly a cosmetic thing. However, if you launch hard from a stop into a turn, you might observe more control than otherwise. There could be other situations where you can certainly tell whether it's there or not, but the change is still somewhat minor. And you would need to test it out for your self.

What make it such a desirable mod is that any two-handed monkey can install it. It's totally DIY, and for a reasonable cost (all things being relative). Then there's the psychology, knowing that some cars sold with a sport- or track-package often get a FSTB from the factory.

Essentially, your money could be better spent elsewhere, even if it gets spent here eventually. Front and rear swaybars, for example. That should be at the top of your list.

I figured that the strut tower bar is mostly a cosmetic upgrade but is there issues with fitting the spl camber kit with the sway bars?

All I can speak to is Eibach sways with SPC rear camber arms, which are really tight. Less than a 1/4" clearance, IIRC. But like caliper clearance, as long as you clear then you're good.

Hotchkis and SPL...

I can answer 2-4 for you.

2) 19x9.5 +22 should be fairly close to flush depending on what your ride height and camber settings are. I'm running 19x9.5 +40 on my wheels with 15mm front and 5mm rear spacers. My rear tires aren't 100% flush so that I can at least carry people in the back without rubbing.

3) I'm running test pipes and have a couple of friends running HFC's on their with O2 non fouler extensions. For the most part it prevents the CEL, but eventually does pop up. You can do the pedal dance ECU reset to clear the CEL which fixes the issue anywhere from a couple of days to a couple of weeks. My recommendation is to get a tune since you'll be able to disable that O2 sensor.

4) Infiniti of Louisville had the lowest prices of all OEM Infiniti accessories when I bought my front lip and trunk spoilers. Infiniti usually has a 20-25% off online discount coupon when you spend over "X" amount. IIRC, I paid less than $550 for my lip and spoiler with shipping.

I've had a pair of Fast Intentions resonated high-flow cats on the car for over three years now, and no tune. Never tripped a CEL... knock on wood. FI uses a long, J-shaped connector for the O2 sensors, and it works.
