G37X Driver-Side Door Locking/Unlocking Issue

Car: 2012 G37X

The last couple days, my driver side door will not unlock when I use my key fob. All the other doors will unlock just fine. I have to manually push the door unlock/level by the handle on the inside to get the door to unlock.

Any ideas as to why this is happening? It's only happening about 30% of the time?

This just happened to mine. Started intermittently then within a week it was totally dead. I just got it back from the dealer. It was the actuator/motor. Works perfectly now.

How much did it cost you? I need the front passenger door fixed.

I have an extended warranty so it was covered under warranty.

62k on mine and the drivers side is dead now. The passenger side started to act up but has since went back to normal - for now. The whining noise is the first sign that they're eventually going to fail.

Ridiculous for these to fail at any mileage. It appears to be a common issue.

Not happy. Automatic door locks for crying out loud.

lol not even. i had a corvette and i had to change lock actuators a few times on both driver and passenger side. just crap components. i finally just took the motor out of the door and re soldered a better relay in. its not just infiniti. every brand has their faults.
