Well, yea it has its faults but it dosen't "suck."
It is a very old system, and I think they've used the exact same system and sensor since the old like 2004-2005 M35's
It'll work till around 15mph i think, with a max of 90mph and if traffic speeds change rapidly it does get a little confused, but still it's better than standard cruise.
I have used the new Audi adaptive cruise and it's way better.

While we are on the topic of the "technology" package. How do you two like the auto-wipers? I think they are pretty bad compared to other cars I have used. Sometimes it is so bad in detecting water, it is hard to see through the windshield, so I am forced to manually turn it on anyways. Also, snow, forget about it as it will not detect that.
