Resonated test pipe stock exhaust
Does anyone have a sound clip from outside the car and inside the car of resonated test pipes with stock exhaust? I could only find one sedan video on YouTube. I would really like to add the power offered by test pipes but am afraid of the added noise in cabin. I drive a lot for work related tasks while on the phone at the same time and need to be able today really hear who I am talking to and also keep my eardrums from going insane.

Keeping the rest of the exhaust stock I doubt you'd have anything objectionable as far as volume in the cabin. Keeping the OEM Y-pipe should insure no rasp is introduced and drone shouldn't occur. Just a bit more tone and noticeable power when you get on it.
I don't spend much time in stop n go traffic or sitting in drive-thrus so the raw fuel odor isn't much of an issue, but if you spend a lot of time in gridlock traffic or in long lines in drive up tellers etc. with the windows down, or those behind you do, then there may be some unhappy campers

Well I deleted the y pipe and upgraded to a HR y pipe, cut out the y connection, welded in an x pipe, took out the sedan mid section, installed a coupe mid section and welded 2.25" piping from resonators to stock sedan mufflers. It increased tone just slightly from stock sedan. Next step to me would be the resonated test pipes. I don't do a lot of stop and go but still am in the car for lengthy periods of time. I typically clock about 100-150 miles daily. Sometimes I approach 200.

I should've checked your build thread again prior to responding as I knew you had done quite a bit of custom stuff (well pretty much everything, lol). Hard to predict the overall effect the RTPs will have on the exhaust note w/ what you've already done. TBH my RTPs just deepened the tone a bit and seemed to bring the volume at higher RPMs & WOT up a fair amount. I don't think you'll have anything annoying that would cause phone issues just driving at cruising rpms/speeds.

Dragging up an old thread here but I bought this exhaust from 4doorfury and just recently bought Motordyne ART's for the exact same reasons as he was wondering about (lack of extra cabin noise) so when I get these ART's in we'll finally know the answer to this. Hopefully I'll pick up a few ponies as well.

This exhaust setup has been amazing. It's sounds great; no drone (zero, zip, nada), sounds aggressive when getting on it, looks stock from the rear, and I picked it up for $250 right before Christmas. 4DF said he picked up 11whp when he dynoed it after putting it on. I'll take his word for it because I could feel the difference. I'll keep you posted on how this turns out.

Well as stated months ago I finally got the ART's in. They have a little bit of rasp but only over 3K and the overall decibels went up slightly. With the window up I can't hear the rasp at all or smell the exhaust since it's straight through now. No CEL and at cruising speed 60-65 I can definitely feel it pull a bit more which is nice. Overall, I'm satisfied. I'll get some sound clips up eventually in the next few days.
