G37 Black Out Thread

Hey guys! I recently bought a really clean black G37 sedan. I've had it for a few months and love it! I am looking to do a few mods to it cosmetically. I want to get the front grill, back spoiler, trim around the windows and wheels painted black. I see so many pictures of G37's done like this and was wondering if you guys had any tips on how/where to get it done. I am from the south florida area but also have family near orlando so either place would be fine. Also if you have any price points that would help too!

Thanks!

Welcome to the site!
Use vinyl wrap for the window trim, it will match your center door pillars perfectly as they are wrapped from the factory. Here's an easy DIY and will set you back a couple hours and about $25, and a taillight project that you might like as well The other parts you listed are good parts to paint.

Autoflex gloss black on the grill and trim. Cost about $300 from a professional shop.

And my car now but bluebat 20% GTR overlays on the lights. $30 or sonfor the overlays and $70 for someone to do the work!

That gloss black grille looks nice with the chrome emblem! I'll definitely be doing the blnewt DIY for the side trim though, I've been eyballing it for some time now. Just need to find the time.

Follow Fat Sac's lead, and get an emblemless grille, paint the perimeter gloss black, and the slats matte black, for a subtle contrast.

I agree with having the emblem left on. The emblemless look just doesn't hit home with me. And Daddy Fat Sac (that's so unnatural typing that name) can keep his title as "only emblemless guy in Tampa".

IDK about that. Sometimes emblemless works. Maybe if Fat Sac posted more pics of his Malbec Black front end with that grille, and shut the hood, I'd think differently, but from that pic it looks really interesting to me. I think the point of interest is the subtle contrast between the slats and the edges.

Show the OP a picture of your customized front grille, STownSaint, with that big Fuji.

beyond knowing what g37 front end looks like, the emblemless grill gives me a Cadillac CTSV look to me. Idk.
