No, you're not crazy. I switched to AS tires from the OEM summer tires for better mileage and better ride in the winter, and the Michelins have been a huge disappointment as far as the mileage goes. It's ironic that I waited a long time for Michelin to make a tire like this, and when they finally did it ended up performing like this. I think all their work on the tire went into marketing and not tire development. If the AS 3+ s don't get better mileage, I'm going to another brand.
