It was available at the time at a good price and is a bit thicker than the G sway. I'm sure either one would make the car feel way better.

Gotcha, and yeah with how thin those are I'm sure either one would!

Did a few basic mods today, listened to J37x and swapped my interior bulbs to a nice white instead of the oem yellow. Found a 9 bulb kit off eBay for like $8 + free shipping so I said why not. Was definitely picky about the bulb color though, not a fan of the leds that have more of a "blue" output compared to the nice "white" oem looking ones.
I did the entire inside, trunk, and plate lights.

Also I really didn't feel like paying $40 for bumper plugs so i DIY'd them and I think they turned out pretty nice! I had to add 2 more holes because the way the dealership drilled in the plate, it left indents from the drill bit which I did not like at all. So I drilled in 2 more holes and covered those as well. Instead of using oem touch up paint (went to local dealer, they were out of it so they ordered it for me, however didn't feel like waiting) I feel the duplicolor matched pretty well. I mean they're just bumper plugs? Anyways, started prep+paint of plugs last night, drilled and installed today. Overall I'm happy with them!

ps sorry for dirty car, it's about to snow this weekend so she will be washed after that

The maplight covers on the GT-R are a direct replacement. Much more attractive, too.
