What's up everybody, so I just recently joined the G fam and I been searching here and there for a lip for my 09 37s sedan but unfortunately the only one I've found was the oem lip kit but I'm a bit iffy about that one. I was wondering if any of you awesome people have an idea if there's any different ones out there or maybe you've gone out and created your own.

 

i have the OEM accessory chin lip on my '09 S and love it. very easy install and quality materials, no fitment issues of course since it is OEM. or were you talking about the trunk lip? i have that too - the OEM trunk lip. most guys on here prefer the OEM trunk lip to more extreme designs.

 

There are also the Impul (top) and Kenstyle (bottom) lips, both of which are very rare. Not sure where you would even go to get them (besides Japan). A company called BlackTop Aero made a replica of the Kenstyle lip, but I'm not sure if they are still in business: https://www.myg37.com/forums/interio...d-journey.html

 

Yeah I was talking about the chin lip, should've been more specific lol and do you mind posting a pic of it whenever you get a chance?

I got it from orderinfinitiparts.com but you can get it from your local Infiniti dealer or any online genuine Infiniti parts retailer.

 

i got mine from orderinfinitiparts.com. like most of the online wholesalers, they are the online parts store for a major OE Infiniti dealership. i paid $277.98 shipped back in 2013. they have since reduced the price to $254 for my BS Sport chin (K6010-JK21A). other chins on the same site are as low as $208 depending on color, etc.

i suggest google searching your part number and see what comes up. sometimes EBAY sellers are blowing out surplus OEM parts. there is one EBAY seller called CarPartsCorner that seems to get batches of OE parts for really cheap.

Thanks for posting my car. 93Owner is correct, the Impul lip is almost non existent in North America and you will have to source it out from Japan. Plus it has a hefty price tag due to the rarity. Considering your budget, maybe start saving for a G37 Sport Front End conversion.

 

I had the OEM sport lip on my 09 and it looked great!

 

That's the non-sport lip, just to avoid confusing the OP.

There isn't a huge amount of options for poly lips nor CF lips but here's some stuff I found when researching lips.
