Good choice on the new ride! Did you trade I. Your G with those wheels or throw the OEMs back on?

This is why I love this community! You are all amazing!

Thanks for the congrats, and sorry for the late response. Meetings ALL DAY!

The rev-matching is great, but felt like home due to the G performing the same. It's been 3 1/2 years since I've driven manual and I've never learned how to heel/toe, so it's a great help! The car itself feels very familiar, again due to the G. However, handling and performance is quite different. She's very nimble and a blast to drive! I'm constantly shocked at how it effortlessly accelerates, and somehow doesn't feel like it's going as fast as it does. I'll have to watch the speedometer carefully until I can get a feel for the sense of speed.

I ended up trading it in with the Miro's. I simply didn't have time to swap them out. Also, due to the shop I'd gone to over-tightening my OEM lugs, they actually stripped one stud on each front hub. The OEM lugs were shot!

I have one, but she'll be driving next year, and the wife has an SUV. I'm free from needing back seats!

I have to say, pretty surprised by this. Didn't realize you were wanting a 6MT that bad. (Not that I can blame you.)

Don't know if you've been reading up on 6MT mod opportunities, but there are two very obvious ones: the RJM Clutch Pedal Assembly, and a Short-Throw Shifter. Both are of the why-didnt-i-do-that-immediately variety.

Anyway, congrats! Beautiful, driver's car you've got there.
Thanks John!

The PA meet and Mikes G made me pine for another manual car. It made me realize just how much I missed having one.

I didn't know about the 6MT mod opps. At this point, I'm not sure it would have changed my mind. The chance to own a Z was almost a childhood dream.

Hey Max!

They're very much alike! It feels like home!

Great looking Z, and if you've been longing for a MT you made a nice choice for sure.

Keep us posted on any plans you have and no need to fade away. You've made a lot of friends here and you stayed Nissan so you're good to go!
Thanks Brad!

The salesman told me flat out that he's going to drive my G for a few days before posting it online. If not for his A4, he would have bought it himself. They were complimenting the G quite a bit.

A customer came in, and wanted to test-drive it. He was upset when told that it wasn't quite ready for sale. She'll be snapped up for sure!

Thanks Mkhlmnn!!! I really don't want to join any other community! I'll be sure to place any pics in the "Other Cars" section!

John was telling you the 2 best mods for your Z. They make night and day difference in driving. Both mods are universal between the G-Z. Trust me, both are more than worth it. You think its fun driving now...wait until you do those 2....yes...its that much BETTER!

Ah... I completely misunderstood what he was suggesting. Thanks for clarifying!

For most of the younger crowd here, both are DIY projects, making them ridiculously inexpensive mods which will dramatically improve how you drive the car. There really is nothing that compares in that price point, except maybe aftermarket swaybars... assuming aftermarket sways are a necessary thing on the NISMO Z. Maybe not.

RJM is on v3 with his clutch pedal. It comes fully assembled now, with easier-to-use settings than before. It should be a no-brainer purchase. Just whip out your Paypal account and get one. You won't regret it.

370Z & G37 AFP Clutch Pedal Assemblies - *RJM Performance.com

Same goes for the STS. No regrets, except for not doing it sooner.

Thanks for the info John! I'll have to pass it by the wife. She's already not happy with the 1k I'll need to spend for Blizzaks.

How does the car rev-match for you if it's a manual?

Edit: Nevermind, I found a YouTube video. Holy crap this is awesome. Would love to have this in my 6MT.
