Centric Premium Rotors already rusting

I replaced all my OEM rotors to Centric Premium rotors about a week ago.

IT'S ALREADY RUSTING!

NC has ben so humid lately.. that's probably why..

Just want to shout it out lol

Every rotor is gonna get surface rust, well i guess unless you have carbon ceramic.

I parked my car last night, came out this morning and it was totally rusty. Just gotta live with it!

My hubs are painted black though, so they don't rust.

Yeah, my rotors' hubs are painted black as well but the rotor area where the brake pads do not touch starting to show the orange rust.

I know rust is normal and it's not a big deal but come on, one week?!

Yeah that's totally normal lol.

But you can paint the part the pads don't touch also. That's what i did.

the hub centers of Centric premiums are black e-coated, so no worries there. the friction surface will 'rust' on any iron-based rotor. some a bit more than others, but as soon as you start driving the 'rust' gets scrubbed off by the pads. no more rust. the outside (vent vanes) may show a bit of rust, but you're looking pretty close to notice that.

my rusty rotors look like hell. gonna give them some tlc this weekend and probably get some paint on there as well.
