Those FI mufflers are so perrrrty. I'm actually considering switching back to an FI exhaust just for a bit more noise.... and those awesome mufflers would just be a bonus!
I totally agree. Didn't expect to be wow'd by how the cans and tips looked... I was more focused on the exhaust mod. But they really do pop (no pun). And the mufflers have a seamless edge. I don't know how they do that, but it's damn cool. In other words, I have an appreciation for the design that exceeded my expectations.
Wow! Liam, those tips look fantastic in that picture! Size, placement and fitment appear to be perfect. And I love the look of an improved OEM design. Very nice choice.
Those mufflers, though. I'd paint those black. They cheapen the look, and take away from those nice tips.

Thanks John! Oh, and I painted the mufflers shortly after taking that pic
And notice the inlet; my custom exhaust uses v-band clamps
Borla mufflers and unique oval tips, nice to see another custom one-off setup! What's your full setup and do you have any sound clips?
Thanks! Setup is FI RHFC --> Tanabe Y-Pipe with outlet modified with an H-Pipe -> Custom 2.25" Mid-pipe with 22" MBRP Resonators --> Borla Boomer mufflers.

Deep and throaty with a little burble when I let off the accelerator.
