Does your keyless entry just sometimes not work?

Cause thats the case for me. Sometimes i need to take out the key and press on the button on the fob, cause the button on the car doesnt register it. And this happenes maybe 30% of the time.

Any fixes?

It's funny you ask bc it's actually been happening to me a few times the past 3 or 4 days. I recently changed out the batteries about 3months ago too. The car starts but the key light stays on my dash unless I click a button. Doesn't bother me as of now unless it gets more serious.

^^Sounds like your new batteries were not so fresh. I changed mine out a while back (I think the discussion is in rochester's sedan thread). No issues unlocking the car or starting. Original batteries were going on 4+ years.

I never had any issues with unlocking oelocking the car, popping the trunk or even starting it. But i usually put my key fob into the little hole near your left knee and thats when i notice the key light on the dash then ill take it out and click a random button and it goes away.
