2010 anniversary edition or not?

I've been looking into buying a g37, scouring all kinds of sites to see what's out there for sale and I see a lot of 2010s listed as anniversary edition but they're neither gray nor do they have the red leather seats....I had read somewhere that infiniti had only made them in graphite shadow with the Monaco red leather seats, are these listings people are putting up just misinformed on the cars package or were there versions made without those seats?

Its just the stereotypical used car dealer trying to get more for the car. Ive only ever seen one AE in real life.

Pretty sure it's only the ones with the red seats.

The best way I found to weed out the fakers, is to search on cars.com then filter the results by interior color. Aside from that, my best suggestion is to be willing to travel to get "the one".

That's pretty much what I was starting to think, I don't specifically want the AE really, I just want the sport package but there aren't a lot of them around for sale in Pennsylvania and I thought the AE had the sport package so I was looking at them.

That Monaco Red Leather interior is very unique, but if all you're looking for is the RWD Sport Package, man that's that's a hard way to do it.

Search cars.com or auto trader for RWD G's, then just identify the Sport Front Bumper. Easier to filter if you're looking for a 6MT, but a much more rare car.

That's RWD... In case you don't already know this, the Sport Package on the AWD Sedan is appearance only.

Might also post a WTB (Want to Buy) listing in the private vehicle classifieds here
and check the listings here too, might just get lucky.
G's FS - MyG37
You will have to post 10 times and wait a couple days to post in that section though.

I brought an authentic AE in June of this year.... Love it, the interior gets me compliments weekly.... Nothing drastically different, just a cool factor imo

So the sport package on the AWD G's is just appearance? Thats good to know, I pretty much need the AWD one way or another or I can't imagine ever driving it in the winter here in PA, but if there's no real difference other than cosmetics I could probably save money just getting a regular AWD sedan.

The AWD S does have a few of the goodies such as Sport seats, paddle shifters, and bigger 18" wheels, but it doesn't have the big brakes, stiffer suspension or the LSD rear end. It's a nice upgrade if the price point isn't too much higher.
Here's the official list of XS upgrades~
Sport Package AWD: Split 5-spoke 18x7.5-inch
aluminum-alloy wheels with P225/50R18 allseason
tires; unique sport front fascia, unique
headlights, unique sport side sills; front sport
seats with manual thigh extension and driver’s
power torso and thigh support adjustment;
aluminum pedals; solid magnesium paddle
shifters

...or the close ratio steering rack. Everybody always forgets about the sport-tuned steering in the RWD Sport Package.

...or the S badge

In all seriousness... I've heard the headlights in the 2010+ models had slightly darker headlights, but I'm not 100% on that.

blnewt is correct with the actual description.

I have a 2010 AE Edition and Love it... I get so many compliments on the seats alone! And yes, its a true AE Edition. I get really irritated when dealers or others put AE edition on vehicles that are not. I purchased mine because it was very unique. Only Around 300 i think were imported to the US, and I didn't want to see others like it while driving. If I wanted that, I'd pick up a fusion, or Malibu, I think u get the idea. But I am very specific as well. Oh, I also disconnected the connection under the glove box a few months back for summer driving making it RWD. Plug it back in when u want AWD. Kinda the best of both worlds as far as i'm concerned. And yes, the brake package is a joke for the vehicle. Thats probably the only thing I do not like... It makes no sense why it would come w/o Akebono's. So I had to purchase those. Regular brakes are fine, but it was time for an upgrade. They go on this week.

Disable the AWD? Do what you want with your own car, that's fine. However, Infiniti's Intelligent AWD system provides grip at launch that's arguably better than the Viscous Limited Slip differential that comes with the RWD Sport Package. You're not tailoring your car for summer driving, you're crippling it.

Both systems are great for winter driving, but the only winter driving considerations that matter are snow tires and common sense.

And the non-sport brakes are totally fine for the street. There's simply no way you could tell the difference, unless you're on a course track and you brake late into all your turns. The Akebono BBK is beautiful, no doubt. But non-sport brakes a joke? No, that's just silly. All you need are better pads.

Enjoy your car, Chances, but keep it real.

Thank you Rochester for allowing me to do as I wish with my car, I certainly will. hahaaaa

I love the fact I can pull the plug on the AWD, and if thats "crippling it", It sure is fun!

The brakes are a JOKE compared to what the car should have came with. I said the OEM ones are fine, it was just time for an upgrade.

And "Keep it real." Ill take that as your way of saying have a great weekend.
