Aside from the Glock, S&W, and grenade, nothing too exciting. Seriously though, the owner's manual and books take up 95% of the glovebox so I think I just barely had room for the insurance, registration, and phone cable. Now there is almost enough room left for a thumb tack, almost.

lol, you 'mericans are funny with all the guns 'n stuff. but seriously, as a Canuck i do often wonder how many drivers are packing heat when my family and i are driving around the states. based on this forum my concern is warranted, and why i tend to use the horn less frequently when visiting down south.

as far as my glovebox; insurance/registration papers, the quick reference manual guide (other manuals are in folio pouch in trunk), tire gauge, flashlight, pen, bottle/wine opener, napkins, and yes, lightweight driving gloves. the gloves were a gift from one of my kids - i've never worn them. wearing driving gloves is too douchey for my taste, but i didn't have the heart to leave them out.

my goodness, shame on you guys for carrying a handgun in your glovebox. geez.

I carry mine on my hip with an alternate usually in my driver side door or in the wedge of the passenger sport seat where it extends. (PITA getting it unholstered while seated in the car)

I do carry a happy stick in the glove box usually though. (33rds of 9mm in a single magazine for you canucks and other folk uninterested in protecting yourselves.)

Also included is FSM and insurance.

That's because he only asked what we keep in the glove box, not what's in the trunk or under the hood.

I find it hilarious when people fear people who carry. Just because someone carries a gun doesn't mean they are psychotic gun toting loonies who shoot anyone who crosses them.

There is a great Meme going around facebook that lays out the reality of a law abiding gun carrying citizen. we go through federal background checks, aren't domestic abusers or illegal drug users, have fingerprints on file, no felonies or violent convictions of any kind, blah blah blah, now WTF do we know about YOU?

this could derail quickly, sorry. ignorance infuriates me.

Only if you derail it. Talk about cars. It's a car forum.

Insurance/registration papers, tire gauge and Advil.

I don't have a gun because I don't feel I'm in danger. Just like I don't carry around SCUBA gear because I don't feel like I'm going to plunge into a lake.

Off the top of my head... I know I keep a large allen wrench and a small adjustable wrench that I need to get my FSTB off.

And a socket wrench with a m10 deep socket, because just about bolt on the car is m10.

And a swiss-army thing with all kinds of screw drivers and various sized allen wrenches.

And a Joe's Racing tire gauge.

And an LED headband light.

And the owner's manual.

Defektion already told you what's in my glove box, the next question is what's in your console. For me it's the thumb drive in the USB slot with my music, a Leatherman knock-off tool, a tire gauge, a few napkins, phone charger and cable, one of my portable USB back-up hard drives, a spare pair of sunglasses and four molecules of air.

Napkins and an empty Ray-Bans case.

I have more junk in the center console (coin holder, breath mints, etc.) and secured in the trunk net (Joe's Racing tire pressure gauge, flashlight, unopened quart of oil, wheel cleaner, bungee cords, etc.) than the glove box.

For all the owners manuals in the glove boxes? Did you not get the little pleather case with the velcro that secures to the wall of the trunk like the first aid kit?

Wife's sunglasses, insurance card, 4 survival blankets, wet wipe singles, spare USB cord, Maui Jim hard case. Ice scraper in the winter.

Center console=mini flashlight, tire pressure gauge, USB drive for music, USB charger for wife's phone (I have a concealed charger for my magnetic phone mount), spare reading glasses, glasses cleaner wipes, container of ibuprofen, container of motion sickness tablets, pen, post-its.

Manual is in the trunk in its holster, but the Velcro is on its last legs.
