Clutch switch clicking

Hello everybody! I have a 2012 G37s sedan with manual trans. The stock clutch pedal never made any noise when depressed, always completely quiet. Recently, it began to make a binding/knocking sound.

I took it to the dealer, who warrantied the pedal assembly. The replacement was smooth, but after a few days, the clutch switch started making this annoying clicking sound like a ball-point pen.

I complained and had a second clutch assembly swapped in with the hopes of getting it back to the quiet way it was. The second assembly also makes the same irritating clicking sound from the switch. I checked out a new MT Q60 for comparison, and no, it didn't make the clicking sound so I know I'm not going insane.

Any ideas what I can do get the switch quiet? What do they do at the factory to make it quiet? Thanks for the help!

A video of the noise would probably help if it's loud enough to be picked up by a camera. I'd suggest lubricating the moving parts but seeing as the pedal assemblies were new that shouldn't be a problem. My car makes a clicking noise when I put the clutch in but it's always done that and I've never thought about it.

spray some silicone spray on the pedal pivots and hinges and spray some silicone on the clutch switch too.

Thanks for the input. My theory is that the clutch switches all make some noise, it's just a question of how much and whether you can hear it or not. You would think a new pedal assembly would come quiet and get noisier as it aged . . . whatever.

I'll try the silicon spray and see if there's an improvement.
