Racoon Strike - 75mph
hay OP all you will need is a repaint of the bumper. i got that from bottoming out in my old g35 and had the spider web across the driverside bumper. the body shop just sanded and repainted. no need to replace bumper. i just lived with it for a while. cause living in LA is terrible on lowered cars.
Can you safely walk the area where it happened to try to find that bezel? They're like $60, it might be worth a quick walk. It does just snap right in. They can be tough to find when the shiny-side is down in grass and sticks. I took a walk to find one of mine after tapping a deer a few months back. I'm pretty sure they're painted plastic, so a metal detector wouldn't be of any help.
In your case, I'd probably get it fixed. I can tolerate mine, it's hardly noticeable. Is it cracked or are they that hard to strip and repaint? I'd think the spider webbing is just from the bumper doing its job and flexing right, not from actual cracks in the plastic. Definitely interested in hearing the estimate. Please update.
That damage is probably repaired with just some really fine sandpaper and water. Or, you can see these guys: Colors On Parade | On-Site Automotive Repair | Paint Restoration It doesnt look like a major problem.

The interesting thing is the PAINT cracks but NOT but bumper. I have only ever seen that on Infinitis.
