According to their website:
  • This product is hand built (in house) to order with a standard lead time of 4 - 6 weeks. Once your order is placed, you will receive an invoice with your estimated shipping date. Note: The lead time may fluctuate less than 4 or greater than 6 weeks based on order volume.

Thanks all. 8 weeks is long time, but I'm sure it's worth it. Rochester, have you had any issues with them?

funny enough when I installed the exhaust my cousin installed the mid-pipes wrong, n was having a real issue getting the flanges to line up, realized what was going on n swap the mid-pipes n it lined up perfectly but the height of the tips were still sitting low so I just added the spacers.

No problems. No CEL, no leak, no broken welds. However, I did have my old mechanic fabricate a support bracket.

Man, there should be a thread just for videos of cars revving in a parking garage.

That sounds fantastic.

Hey guys need some advice, I have an ark grip on my sedan n I can hear a slight ring (if you wanna call it that) when I get on it hard but only from outside. I had my wife do a quick pull for me n that's when I heard it. I'm going to upload the link, you can hear it but its clearer with headphones so if you guy can tell me what ya think could be causing the slight ring that would be great. Thanks in advance.

Nice. And I saw your thread about the support bracket - good little write up. May have to see if my exhaust shop can do something similar.

@Redgoyabean That sounds like rasp to me. Do you have aftermarket cats?

No only mods are ark n takeda cai system that's it, during install I used the gaskets provided but reused the original cat gasket could that be the reason. I've seen some ppl used some type of paste between the cats n x pipe, I really hate to have rasp.

I don't think it's real common to see an Ark exhaust rasp, especially without cats. I'd start small and make sure everything is lined and tightened up, then maybe get some better cat gaskets if that doesn't fix the problem.

On another note, are the FI RHFC's much quieter than the Berk HFC's?

Put on the Z1 non-res test pipes on my sedan (will probably do a review) which also has the topspeed Y-back exhaust that had its resonators cut off, the sound and overall loudness was great and exactly what I wanted. Except for one thing, there was a window of HARSH rasp from 2500-2800. Not just normal rasp, it literally sounded like a 4 cylinder with a cutoff muffler worse than even any videos I've seen but everything after that range was perfect and felt great. As such I went ahead and slapped vibrant resonators back onto the exhaust and now its basically dead quiet, all that loudness gained and nice pops are virtually gone . So I guess its back to the drawing board for getting this car loud once more.
And for those wondering, even with resonators cutoff the drone was definitely manageable with the Z1 test pipes even at highway speed I wouldn't say its anything that would give you a headache or bother you if you had music on.

My buddy at AAM always swore against non-res test pipes on Z/G cars.
