Oh I know lol. Its definitely a cheaper option, but the sound is great, and it's not overwhelmingly loud like a lot of the others. I know people have been reporting rusting issues around the welds and stuff. If I didn't daily drive my car 130 km, I'd buy something like the ark, but now that I have to put all that mileage on my G, I'm not going to dump as much money into it as I had originally planned.

Shouldn't it be the other way around? Since you will be spending so much time in your car, wouldn't you want to enjoy it even more? Just curious.

I'm just not going to hold onto it for as long as I originally wanted to. Also with the Canadian dollar being in the ****ter, something like ark would run me 2.5-2.7 k.

I always thought this video was fascinating, showing before/after for the Motordyne Shockwave on the Coupe. In the middle of the video, he does a before/after drive by from what looks like 100 yards away.

Very cool.

No problem man. I'm glad you created this thread. You reminded me that I had those two clips saved on my Mac. Those were my first videos I recorded with my new ReplayXD hd cam. I need to use that thing more often

Great video, thanks for sharing that. It's amazing how much louder the coupe exhaust is compared to the sedan. Makes me want a manual coupe

For those wondering how the Tanabe Axleback + Berk's HFC setup sounds underload (through a GoPro), here you go!

Sounds good but I think you should take some Mothers metal polish to the tips

G37 Sedan Tanabe Berks HFC
Sounds as raspy as mine does :/ What gaskets are you using at the header to HFC connection flange?

I'm using the Berk's gaskets with RTP sealant. I don't think the gaskets are causing the rasp, it seems to be caused by the OEM piping, especially the Y-Pipe.
