Decided to sell the G...

I had intended to purchase "Lurlene" <-- (Don't ask) LOL... at the end of the lease, but I got too good of a deal to pass up on the 2015 Q50S... dealer took $8200 off sticker and got the payments down to $418.00 with only first payment down (36 month/ 12K lease Base sport model with Nav). I returned the exhaust and wheels/tires back to factory but left on the Eibachs and the inspector didn't even notice. I figured it would cost more to install the stock springs than I could sell the used Eibachs. It was definitely bittersweet. Will post pics of the new one, went with Black this time... having tint and rear spoiler installed.

I was in the same situation as you with my Selina!

I went into Infiniti to discuss the plan on taking over the payments to keep her, but ended up leasing a 2015 Q50S AWD NAV and Tech...loaded demo with 2500 miles on it.
The cost of the G37 wasn't worth it since the release of the Q40/Q50...dropping the G37's worth $10K less.

My savings weren't as good as yours, but still got $5000 off and still ended up with lower monthly payments compared to the G37 for a Q50S with more options and a better warranty.

I've joined 2014 Infiniti Q50 Forum...hope to maybe see you there.

At first, I wasn't to fond of the Q50 and found it a bit mismatched...front was aggressive, but the rear was too passive/subdued and not aggressive enough.
It has really grown on me since ownership and find it more and more appealing.

I'm trying to balance the front and rear a bit...adding the 3M black gloss vinyl wrapped valence to enhance the lower portion which also bring out the Infiniti Sport exhaust tips out more visually.
I'll be adding the Infiniti rear deck spoiler next...that should bring in the finishing touches.

I can understand that sentiment and agree. Im really mostly impressed w/ the interior and how much nicer it is than the G. Don't get me wrong I like the G but I feel that im sitting in a Maxima not necessarily an Infiniti. The Q really elevated the interior to the next level. How is the ride and handling compared to the G? I have heard it can feel a bit numb and the guide by wire steering doesn't always get the best reviews.

So far I have been happy with the Q50... I don't have the drive by wire system, I believe it's packaged with the Deluxe Touring Package which mine doesn't have... the interior is an improvement, the Q sport seats aren't quite as heavily bolstered as the G, so its more comfortable IMO. The only gripe I have is the transmission seems to be a tad laggy on downshifts, almost like its geared higher or maybe they've changed the throttle mapping... so I don't get the quick response and surge of power that I'm used to... the ride is definitely improved but again, I'm used to the ride with the Eibachs and 20" tires. I can understand the criticisms about the Q being more Lexus than Infiniti, the shifts and the ride is smoother, interior is quieter, seats are less bolstered... maybe the new Red Sport with the revised suspension, steering and improved HP and torque will address those concerns... I'd like to test drive one! But for now I'm just going to enjoy my cheaper car payments
