I'm ordering rotiform blqs soon for my '11 xS sedan. They're going to be 5x112. I want to know if I should use wobble bolts or redrill them to 114.3. I'm ok with redrilling but i might trade the car in in the future for an a7 which have a bolt pattern of 112. So id like to possibly keep the rims 112 to put them on the a7 if I do end up getting it. I know what youre thinking, why get wheels for a car youre going to trade in? because thatll be waaaay later. if I redrill them can I later get them refilled, and back to 112? or should I just get wobble bolts in this case. lmk your opinions.

Or can wheels redrilled from 5x112 to 5x114.3 still be used on a 5x112??

It would be better if you just went to a 112 to 114 wheel adapter if you have room for them.

 

Like blnewt said use a good quality adapter.

 

If you're ordering them new, can't your order them in 5x114.3?

Also, aren't wobble bolts used on cars with with lug bolts (Volkswagen) instead of lug nuts? Wouldn't even work on our cars. Unless they make wobble nuts, that I've never heard of.

 

They don't make them in 5x114.3 with +25 offset.

& I've seen another g sedan using wobble bolts but idk how the guy made them work.

I think I'm just going to go with redrilling them.
