Viper smart start, installed!

Hey guys
In NYC it's getting pretty damn cold and auto start is a must. I just got the viper installed and I HIGHLY recommend it. Just remember to keep your heat high and on blast so when you start the car it's already running. It has a 12 or 24 minute option so by the time u get in the car it's nice and toasty! The key fob has a 2 mile radius but u can get the smart start option and start the car from your phone anywhere! Try it out guys it's def worth it.

ProlineNYC in Brooklyn $700 installed. With a pretty good warranty. Go online and you can find a certified dealer to make sure it's done right.

$700 just for a remote starter?

You can buy a Fortin remote starter kit for $80 and install it yourself. You'll need the flash link to program your key which is another $45.

$125 total and you have a remote starter that uses your factory key. No need to have another ugly aftermarket looking key on your keyring.

I wouldn't spend $700 for a remote starter installation when you can spend less than $150 and do it yourself

The kit he got is a lot more than just remote start. Its a 2-way alarm, key-less entry and remote start.

So you didn't pay for a subscription to use your phone as the smart start?

I dunno, that's the price I seen online when I shopped around and went to other stores, for the security comfort and peace of mind I think it's a good price not to mention lifetime warranty as long as u own the car.
GPS tracking for my car, remote start, speed alerts, security alerts sent to ur phone, back up alarm, low battery voltage indicator and a whole lot more I'm happy with it

As long as you're happy with it, that's all that matters. I'm not gonna lie though, the only thing I find really appealing about your kit that the cheaper kit doesn't provide is the smart phone interface. To me, it wouldn't be worth it but I also don't live in an area where I feel my car is at risk for being stolen (and I hope I don't eat my words now lol). Enjoy!

I have the Viper 5905 on my mustang and I told My girlfriend I wanted an auto start for my Infiniti . She went out and bought the same one you got for Xmas. The only problem is I didn't want two fobs. I wanted to use my oem fob only... I took it back to the place and he did the work for $300.00 total. Plus he wired up my subwoofers and stereo.

That's a great price bro, but I'm in the city living in a building and sometimes have to park blocks away, I hate having the extra key fob also that's why I have the smart start feature with my phone, pricey.....but a good investment especially for people in my situation.... car is warm in the winter cool in the summer as soon as I get in can't beat that.
