interior trim vinyl wrap options

Hi all, just wondering if you'd be willing to post pics of your vinyl wrapped trim. I bought my G second hand and it came with some scuffs on the brushed aluminium trim, and I have incurred a couple others, because the coating from the factory is sooo delicate. Having done some searching I know that carbon fibre is really popular and have seen examples of that, so I'm really interested in seeing other options, more on the medium/darker side.
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
Here's a thread I posted about my wrap, if I were to do it again I'd go w/ a brushed black wrap, the one I chose is very similar in color to OEM but does have a different texture.

Thanks for posting. That looks good. But I too think darker will be even nicer. I will search brushed black.

Is the wrap pretty durable, meaning it can take some abuse and not get damaged as easy as the OEM coating?

I'm going to redo my trim in a graphite carbon fiber. Black would look too murdered out for me. Besides the blacked out look has been done to death anyway.

True. The vinyl wood looks really cheap and I don't really care for the original brushed aluminum look either. It's not bad, but I think the gray CF will look a touch sharper. I wish I could find something that would give a bit more of a wow factor but I'm not really seeing anything.

Here's mine. I didn't know how to take the parts out so one of the local members in the forum did it for me.

I'll be doing mine next weekend if the weather isn't awful and the rose gold arrives on time. I'll post a link here.
Mine will be:
Ebony Metallic Wood Vinyl (to cover cheap, glossy wood)
Rose Gold Vinyl (to cover chrome- door handles, frame of center around gear select, frame of center console button, logo on wheel, air conditioning vent adjuster strip)
Black Alligator Leather (center console, accent panels in door inserts)

Thanks SO much for linking that, I tried searching all over for that brushed black wrap thread and came up empty. Love the way that looks BTW!

Dumb question but what does something like that cost to buy & install? I know vinyl isn't super expensive but have utterly no clue what the cost would be.

A 1x5 foot vinyl sheet is in the $20 range and would be enough if you don't buy a weave pattern, but a 2x5' sheet is better if you've never worked w/ vinyl before as you'll probably have a couple flubups. If you were to pay for an install I'm fairly certain you'd get screwed. It's a pretty easy DIY if you've got a full day.
