So I ordered this roof spoiler from SpoilerKing, and after putting a lot of thought into it, I'm thinking about just PlastiDipping it to match the other dipped items on the car. Can I get some honest opinions? It's more of a gunmetal color. The grill, emblems, rims, and rear "spoiler" trim are all the same dipped color.
Mine is black on a white car, with the rationale that it's better matched as a trim-piece than a body component. However, it's also a very low-profile wing, so IDK how that factors into your thinking.
The wing you bought is pretty big, IMO. And the pics on the website you linked to already give you an idea of what black on gray would look like. Personally, I think it looks kind of awkward... which is why I waited forever for someone to come out with a low-profile wing.
I think you should paint it body color, and have it done professionally.

Close to my birthday, so I just purchased the Extreme Gen 3/"Happybuyitnow" spoiler that Rochester shows in his pic. Personally, I think this one is perfectly matched to the lines of he car. I'll will post some pics once its installed.
Personally I'm not crazy about that spoiler, but it is by no means bad looking or gaudy. Looks fine if you like it. I have the same one as Rochester in gloss black.
Yours is bigger, sticking straight out and more conspicuous. I would try body color and you can always plasti dip over it.
Might not be a sedan, but I put one of them roof or window spoilers, quite low profile, and I like it very much. I think a larger profile is better on the coupe; but for the sedan lower is better.
I wasn't being sarcastic. Lots of people do mods purely for aesthetic reasons, and others won't spend money if it's won't get them some performance gains. Some of these roof spoilers that curve up look like they might be performing a function, but I can't tell what the ones that lay flat are supposed to achieve.

Quite honestly, I didn't think you were being sarcastic, but to be just as honest - I was. It's next to impossible for me to believe that any mod as subtle as this almost flat roof spoiler can be of any practical or functional use whatsoever, but then - what the hell do I know?
