How do you activate heated mirror?

I was hardwiring my dash cam a few days ago and realized there was a fuse labeled heated mirror.

I tried looking for the button to turn it on but i couldn't seem to find it. In my previous car the button was located behind the steering wheel on the left side.

I believe they activate when the AC system is in rear windshield defrost mode. Maybe?

This is correct, they are linked to the rear defroster.

Rear defrost button, A/C mode irrelevant.

You can also use the window switch, then lean out and breathe on it.

Tough to do on the passenger side while driving, unless you are a giraffe

Front Defroster........Funny our CT200h is the base model and I turned on the front defrosters the other day and then accidentally grabbed the mirror because our doberman bumped me and burnt my hand on a car that is not supposed to have heated mirrors. Pleasant but painful surprise.

Wonder how hot the G37's mirrors get. Not supposed to need these in Alabama......

Thanks for the insight. I was wondering this as well. I guess we should all read the manual, but that book is big as TEXAS.
