2013 Sedan in Asgard Grey ?

Hi guys -

I'm shopping to replace our 2009 G with a newer model.
I found this 2013 and the dealer claims it's Asgard Grey.

I don't really know my G colors but in the pic this looks more like the gray-light blue color that I remember from a few years ago when I paid attention.

I know it's hard to tell with the indoor lighting but any ideas what color this really is? It's a 4 hour drive from my home

That looks like Graphite Shadow. There is no Asgard Grey
Here are the colors:
Vibrant Red, Liquid Platinum, Smoky Quartz, Graphite Shadow, Blue Slate, Black Obsidian, Moonlight White and Malbec Black.

Thanks. I recall in Canada they used the name Asgard Grey but in the US it went by a different name.

I'll search for pics of Graphite Shadow and see if that's color I am hoping for.

Thanks Sean, I searched that one out as well.
It looks sooo different from the one in the pic that posted, I was thinking that the dealer had called the color wrong.

Take a look against the pic I showed, do they look the same?

I agree completely. I thought it might be a lighting thing.

The dealer one looks like it has more blue? Maybe slate blue?

FWIW I do like it.

It's a long drive away but I am heading that way in a week or so.

Couldn't you just call them up and tell them to read you the paint code on the car.

I own a 2010 G37x Sedan in Asgard Grey. It is identical to your photo. Car was purchased new in Canada.

yeah, Canada market has different names for some of the same colo(u)rs. take my G for example: it is code K52. in the US that is called Blue Slate. same code in Canada is called Onyx Blue.

OP - think long and hard if replacing the '09 with a '13 is the best choice or makes financial sense. they are essentially identical, more or less, in terms of drivetrain, features, tech, safety, suspension, etc. unless the '13 has some packages that your '09 doesn't have. only minor cosmetic changes account for the differences. but the driving experience will be the same - i'm assuming they are both the X AWD models.

at one point i too thought about updating from my '09 6MT sedan to a '13 6MT sedan, but then realized that i'd just be paying more money for the same thing i already had so it made no cents. also, i'd be taking on new risks with a used vehicle versus the certain knowledge of my '09's history. there are other vehicle options i have been considering which would at least be logical from a variety standpoint.

The 13 does have the improved timing gasket though

I totally agree and wouldn't be doing this except our 09 G37x was totaled a few weeks ago. I loved that car and it pains me to spend a bunch more money for a used car when I had the 09 since brand new. I babied the 09 with premium fuel, hand car washed, synth oil... on and on.

Oh well, nobody was hurt.
