Made a mistake, need opinions...

I am a new member and have an issue. I ordered a brake kit and of course ordered the wrong size. I got the 330mm dimpled and slotted, but it doesn't fit my 2010 G37X. Is there a way to get them to fit. Looks like the rotor sheids would have to come off, different calipers probably spacers? The shipping will kill me to send them back and I have had no luck on kijiji. Should I just have heavy boxes holding down the garage and just look for a local replacement for rotors and pads? Any thoughts would be appreciated

There isn't a practical way to make them work on your car.

Maybe you could resell them locally, if you ordered ones for your car and they sent the wrong size that should be on the sender though. Sorry to hear of the problem but try listing them in the classifieds if the seller won't make it right, maybe someone nearby can buy them.

From: Framingham Ma,
Agree with blnewt, Resell them and order the correct ones? I had the same problem tho on my 11. They sent me what they thought was right ( there book told them but when I got them them were wrong)

I think the rotor sizes are diffrerent depending on build date IDK. :/.

When I got a BBK for my X I had to trim up the dust shields to make the rotors fit.

Are you trying to upgrade to the Akebono big brake kit? in that case yes you will need to trim the shield and get the Akebono calipers to fit those rotors. If you are trying to replace worn rotors on your oem setup then those rotors will not work.

I noticed you're in Alberta, you should join the Alberta G/Z facebook group, lots of guys are running the akebono brakes and a few people have just done the upgrade recently, you might be able to sell off those rotors in that group!
