Broski, you have become very popular! That is a good thing as you have helped a few on the muffler delete. I have a shop close and will see what they want and set a time to get this done. It only makes sense, though a six never will sound like an eight, if you know what I mean. Tx again fir all the help. I will do pix after 1080 vinyl comes and is done.

Thank you! I'm glad people are getting something from this, that was my whole intent. And I get exactly what you're saying. It's right around the tone I wanted. Loud when you want it to be and still no drone for long interstate drives. I'm pleased with the outcome

Nice.. You were the one that said you were getting is done on Wed right?
Sweet.
It look and sounds great. I made an appointment today for 2pm to get mine done, but then out of the blue an ex girlfriend called and asked if I can help her find a G37 coupe. So I found two 2014's that we are going to look at today. Depending on what time we get done at the dealership I might still have time to get my car to the muffler shop. Oh what... What did the shop charge you? I'll be paying $90.00..

Yes, I was the one that had the appointment for Wednesday. But nice man congrats! Hopefully she finds one that she likes! Hearing that makes me miss my coupe lol

But my shop charged me $100 so you're in the same ballpark. Post some pics if you end up getting it done today. I'm curious how different shops do them

Again... it sounds so good. I'm keeping my oem tips for now. That might change in the future....

I called two muffler shops that I've went to before and got two different rates (not even close at that). One shop quoted $140 and the other quoted me $90. Both do quality work but for something this small, I don't think paying $140 is reasonable.

This is just for whoever might be looking to get something like this done, just shop around and go with what you feel is reasonable.

Yeah.... $80.00 to $100.00 is okay. Anything more is just dumb...

Two hours of customized work, tops. Figure between $60 and $90 per hour, and there's your zone.

I have no qualms paying for someone's expertise. Gotta respect the skills, and this looks like quality work:

Well good news and bad news... I never was able to get to the muffler shop but I was able to find my ex great a great deal on a Q-60.
I found her a 2014 Q-60 coupe for $30,000.
It only had 5,800 miles on it. Hopefully today the guy will have time to get my muffler work done. Oh and yes I'll post some pics. I'm going to show him your pics and tell him that I want it to look like that. Your work was clean.

Sweet! Oddly worded, but nicely done.

She's lucky to no longer have you as a boyfriend.
