Heat not coming out of center vent.

Heat only comes out of side vents but not center vent. AC comes out of center vent fine.

Is this normal in all sedans?

What have you done to troubleshoot this issue?

Perhaps a few more details will help us pinpoint the problem for you

It's not normal for any car to only put out heat for center vents only

Most all cars I've ever owned...heat comes out of the side and floor vents but not center FWIW.

AFAIK regardless of temperature, if you have your "MODE" set to blow at your face, all 4 dash vents work unless you manually shut down individual vents at the vents. If you set to floor only, then the dash vents will not work. If both, then floor and dash vents with less volume.

If you set it to auto it will do as I stated. Manual mode is something all together different.

I'll have to check that out. Rarely use auto.

In Auto or Manual, whether using heat or A/C, the blower blows through all console vents unless you have the individual vents closed off.

Did you try turning the thumb-wheel at the bottom of the vent

Someone may have closed it

Flakman, you are incorrect...at least as it comes to my 2012 car. On my car, with the system set to AUTO, if I crank the heat, the display shows that the air is now coming out of the floor vents only. If I crank the temp back down to cool, it then adjusts to only the top vents.

Interesting. I'll take a look again. To tell you the truth...it may have been much less from the vents, but it was warm, but I had not looked at the display. I'll have to do a more thorough check. Thanks!
