Ok,,well this might be a bit premature as I just had the exhaust installed this afternoon but wanted to do a write up anyways..lol. I will do a follow up in a few weeks with a sound clip !!
i will start at the beginning before I actually made the purchase... I must first say thanks to all that contributes their knowledge and experiences out here. Reading all your posts and such has brought me to the purchases I made... You guys rock !!!
Ummmm..I have to say this..lol. My first choice was Stillen for budget reasons but I spent way more for my Ark CBE and Exotic speed HFC's, if you wanna know why I will not purchase from Stillen ....I would love to share !!

Ok, so after long debates and tons of reading, I purchased the Ark grip exhaust from Uniq Performance... Why?? Well I looked all over the web.. States side and Canadian... Uniq had the best price by hundreds so I was more than confident I wouldn't get a better price anywhere so in late March I made the purchase. He returned emails promptly and actually called to let me know the system was on back order for a couple months and would refund my money without question or he would upgrade the exhaust to the techno tips at the same price ( techno tips are about 100.00 more ) as Ark had this in stock. I wanted the polished system so said I would go ahead with the wait. I text him a few times to ask about ETA and he replied every time within minutes with an answer. There was an issue about a month ago that the polished tips were not available at this time from Ark but had burnt tips coming and again offered to refund me. I again said no I will take the burnt tips and actually glad I did as I love the look...lol. I was so impressed with Uniq's prices and how Rob conducted himself I just purchased Mishimoto tubes and K&N filters . I am confident in what he tells me and don't think he would steer me or anyone wrong just to make a buck.... Hey, just my 2cents... Take it for what it's worth. That is truly how I feel at this time and had to say something as there are too many rip off artists in this fn world. We are all here for knowledge so I am trying to do my part in contributing...lol.
I sound like a salesman but I am just a G dude...lol that is happy with his purchases...period. I will be at up and coming G club drives and going for an uprev tune once I get my tubes and filters and can post pics from anywhere if need be... To sum this up, You want a decent deal call Rob @ Uniq Performance...... Sorry for the long message.. I babble too much...hahaha

 

Nice man I have the same catback on my sedan, Z1 HFC's tho. I ran exoticspeed catback for a long time 3+ years loved it to. Why didn't you get that paired with their HFC's? They make good A+ stuff.

 

Morning brother... Thanks for the reply. I would have gone with the Ark HfC's 100% ....for sure its top notch gear!! but they do not make them for the AWD as of yet...ugh. Honestly, the only reason I picked up the ExoticSpeed cats was because I got them off of kijiji for a good price. The guy sold his car before he had a chance to install the cats so I got them brand new at a discount... Perfect !!!! Only driven the car for about 20 minutes so far but sounding better everytime I start the car...lol

I seen a few video clips with ExoticSpeed CBE ( not much out there?? ) and did sound exotic... A lil to exotic for me ..lol. Like a lil more bottom end, even my Ark is a tad trebly at this time.. I hearing will be a bit lower as it breaks in?? Also when I add the tubes and filters, it should be a lil throatier?? We will see...lol. I will post a sound clip in a few weeks ...

 

Yea the few exoticspeed clips are like me and a few others LOL. I really like it just need a change. The intakes wont really make the exhaust louder but the break in will.

 

Is your car the white convertible ?? That car sounds sooooo good. Like I said thou, a bit too exotic for my taste.. I find my car is already getting a bit deeper and louder. Is it any faster or powerful.. Ahhhhhh. I dunno???? I Reset the ecu ..I think?? Only driven it for about 20 minutes since. Was honestly hoping for a bit more pep but do love the sound. I haven't found one clip with ExoticSpeed HFC's and Ark so I will take the bullet for the team...hahaha.

Are you the NE740 dude?? Car sounds good and doesn't seem to have that hiss when you let off the throttle?? I dunno if I have it or not? I can't hear it in the cabin and haven't had anyone rev it up for me as of yet. I hope I don't have it !!!
