Don't even own a sedan BUT thought this would be nice here lol
I haven't been on here in a very long time. DAMN!!! Poor car. I've been modding my Gs for about 6 years now and this is a big reason that I'm moving away from the Infiniti scene. Don't get me wrong they are great cars but now that the earlier models of the G is becoming significantly cheap to buy you tend to have kids that do **** like this to them. There are all types of car groups that have guys like this do horrid stuff to their rides but I'm beginning to see more of it coming from the Infiniti scene here in Houston.

Just curious because I just came from a 2008 acura tl
Do you remember being a kid, and messing around with Play-Doh?
That's what this trunk lip is: Arrested Development. The whole car, really. Poor guy.

I'm getting older so I'm looking at the 2014 Cadillac CTS V Sport and the 2013 Audi A6 3.0T Prestige. I've also taken a look at the new Genesis Sedan. It drives really well now and the upgraded interior is amazing.
Ah...that 3.8 is supposed to be nice in that Genesis, too. That CTS V lowered with some nice wide wheels is sick looking! There's one that goes to the gym I go to. Looks mean as hell!
The Genesis sedan is very nice and I sat in one at the recent north Texas auto show. However it's a really biG car and only makes sense if you have kids.
If I were to consider the Genesis it would have to be the 5.0 motor however the curb weight for it is 4500lbs. That's a lot of weight. The v6 weighs 4100lbs and makes only 311hp.
Now the a6 prestige is a definite looker. Plus that supercharged v6 can easily be tuned to be a sleeper. Plus it only weighs 4100 lbs and quattro awd.
The ctsv is just a straight up brutal raw car lol. In a completely different category than the other 2.
No idea how the reliability and maintenance is for any of those brands.
All good picks although I would probably get a ctsv or a6 prestige.

Also question the reliability of the CTS V. So much of the GM cars feel..."cheap" in the interior. They look great, but the fit and feel just seems like they won't last very long. Even the Corvette feels like they skimped on the quality of the interior. I love the Camaro and really look at that as possibly my next car, but what I have felt in the Cadillac and Corvette make me really nervous about it.
C6 screams cheap interior.
C7 I can live with (I'm sure a lot of us could lol)

The CTS that I am looking at is not the CTS-V. It's called the CTS-V Sport which was just released on the latest CTS. Its a 3.6 twin turbo and claims about 420 hp and 400 torque which is sufficient for me. I don't know about Cadillac's interior feeling cheap. When I test drove the CTS Vsport the fit and finish was spot on. Its honestly one of the best interiors that i have ever seen and felt. I know GM had its fair share of bad publicity but what they are doing with the Cadillac line is totally amazing. The same goes for Hyundai's new Genesis. Out of the 3 cars after i drove them all I would have to say the the CTS-V sport and the Genesis tops my list. Then comes the A6. I know people are gonna say how am I gonna put Audi last. Well, being an engineer I tend to look for certain aspects of cars that not everyone will look at. How parts are placed, what kind of materials are used, durability and structural integrity of key components. True Audi and the other 2 Germans tend to put a big wow factor for the pleasing eye but when you begin to start getting down to the components it tends to be a big let down. The Japanese on the other hand is vise versa. I love the way the A6 looks and feels inside but I can't get over the handling. Its very unsatisfactory in my opinion. The G beats the A6 in handling all day long. The CTS-V sport now handles like a dream. I would dare say close to an M5. The new Genesis's suspension was designed and made by Lotus drives like its on rails. You guys should definitely go test drive one the e heck of it.
