Mix and match tint

Aite guys. I'm in a ****ing situatio and I need Yall help fast as I got an appointment tomorrow.

Pretty much I set up an appointment to get tint. I was planning 5% 3 back and 18% up front. But when I recently jus bought the car , I borrow 5gs from my folks as they were kind enough to lend me. Out of respect, he asked me not to tint the back windshield 5% but everything else is okay.

Here's where Yall come in. I have to respect his decision cause I borrowed the money and I'm still in college full time and not working.

Would 18% front, 5% back 2, and 18% rear windshield look dumb as **** ? Or will it blend.. Will my back be completely exposed or will the sides being 5% help it look darker. Would you choose this or 18% all around. But **** I wanted 5% for the back but idk guys. Help me. Hahaha

Car exterior : Graphite shadow. Or shadow graphite Ahaha.

Car interior : cream / beige

My car is white w/ black interior. I have 20% on the entire rear, and 35% in the front. The rear is plenty dark. I initially had 20% all around but it was a little dark for me to see out at night. I've been driving for 15 years, and it just didn't feel safe, so I took it back and had the front changed to 35%. Looks fine to me. Given the choices that youve narrowed it down to, I would just go with the 18% rear and be done with it. I'm not so sure about the 5% / 18% rear mix...

If i had to do it all over again, I would probably just do 35% all around. I find that the lighter shade actually looks classier on these cars, but thats all personal preference. Don't forget to consider your state's tint laws when you make your decision. Even with 35% front, I get stopped by PD somewhat often. Thankfully, due to my occupation they let me go, or else I'd have paid out a pretty fair chunk of money by now.

Do yo u happen to have a picture of your rear windshield in the sunlight? I just want to see if you can see through it a good amount. I might lean towards the 18% but faaaaack haha

I've never heard or seen that combo before. I'm hoping someone has done it and can help you. Although if you're really wanting 5%, you won't be happy with 18% that's for sure lol.

I wouldn't mix and match just get 20% all around it looks much better with same % all around. I have 35% all around including front windshield. Visible during the day not too bad at night

I think split tints looks stupid IMO. As for rolling down the windows after tinting wait 3 to 5 days. The tint doesn't "fully cure" for up to a week but 3-5 is the safest bet.
