Oil/Filter Dash Indicator

Driving to work this morning I got a message on my dash display saying Oil then changing to Oil Filter and subsequently repeating.
My car has 48500km (30100 miles) and the last oil change was done at 43850km (27300 miles). I was not planning to get an oil change until 51000km (31700 miles). My last oil change was done at a mechanics shop as it was cold and I didn’t want to do it myself. No idea if they reset the maintenance records. I know I reset the maintenance records two oil changes ago but I may have done it wrong...
Is my car telling me I need an oil change or is this prompt on the dash coming up because of a mileage setpoint triggering the oil/filter message?

Thanks!

edit: I normally use synthetic, last oil change was regular. That might be why this oil change didn't last as long...?

This. It comes on at whatever interval it is set to. It does not monitor the condition of the oil. It just alerts at whatever mileage it's set to alert you at. Reset it.

If you have NAV, there is also a reminder that can be set there too. You can reset/set the interval to whatever you want. You can add tire rotation as well. Go through the menus and you'll see the various reminders.

Seems my mechanic set both the dash and nav last time the oil was changed. Oh well, it's been 5K (km), I will get it changed.

I wish it was automatic from the beginning... I bought my car CPO couple months ago and it was never set in the dash... The navi was set to 6500 intervals which IMO is too high unless the original owner was using full synthetic or synthetic blend (have to check service history now)... I have put a couple of thousand miles since I purchased it so I will most likely get an oil change in the next couple of weeks and set the interval to 3000 miles both on the navi and dash.
