Curious has anyone every come across one of those "Euro bumpers" The one with the parking sensors in front as well as windshield wipers for headlights?
Ive googled and googled is this just a myth or is there really a euro bumper?
Dunno if it was touched on in here but I searched and didn't find any real answers

These guys are the only one ive actually seen with the bumper, I called them they want me to pass by the shop in BK and check out the bumper in person. but they say they think its just a regular sport bumper.

 

interesting. although I'm sure you can easily add that equipment to your own bumper

 

I saw them in the EU when I was at the dealership though I didn't discuss function or pricing. I was too busy reeling from the cost of the interior trim I ordered and trying to figure out how to get it back to the US.

If you can get the parts and pieces should work though.

 

Just to clarify, those would be headlamp squirters, not wipers. They spray windshield washer fluid on the headlights, but don't wipe like an older Volvo, Saab or Mercedes Benz would. On my BMW when you have the headlights on and use the windshield washer, these are somehow activated. Must be a series or delayed relays or something as they raise, pause, spray, pause, then retract. All BMW's like mine have the outside covers, but not all have the inner guts.

Also on my BMW the bracketry (?) that holds the assembly together is molded into the bumper cover itself, so I'd be skeptical about simply drilling holes into your existing bumper and easily "adding" these. The covers maybe, but squirters probably not. Hopefully you can swing by the shop and have a visual.

That part number 8347EU doesn't offer much Google confidence.

 

I am going to be in that area over the weekend I will def pas by the shop.
I will take pics and post for you guys, that would be pretty cool to have the front sensors and those squirters,
I thought was for wipers like the older Volvos but you may be right about just squirters,
I guess sits the rice on me but I def would like to have this bumper lol..

wonder how I could get the front sonars to work, hmmm gonna try and do a bit more research
