what's leaking? **pics**

I touched and it didn't seem oily or silky (like power steering fluid). I assume it's the water pump??

Could be, but it does seem a bit oily looking. You might also want to reach underneath the left front cam timing cover and see if there is that same black crud buildup extending clear up under it as well. Basically, see how high the leak originates. They can develop a very slow leak (seeping) from under that cam timing cover. It looks like it's been going on for a while, as that black looks like the fine road dust that passes through the radiator and sticks to everything.

Yep, the dirty stuff is like a dark kind of moist powder. I'll check the timing cover. Thanks!

Also check the little units that advance the cams. They are in that General area and may be loose. Check the bolts that hold them in. There's one per unit. I'm assuming there's a rubber O ring that holds the oil in and may possibly be leaking.

Better pic of the front of the motor? Looks like front cam cover seals? mine have been seaping and the dealer keeps telling me its fine :/ .. I guess it needs to run out of oil
