This will probably depend somewhat on what's already been done, and when.

Can you provide a brief service history so that some of our more informed members can chime in?

EDIT:

Put me down for wiper blades and an oil change

Oil change

How do the belts and hoses look? Air Filters, cabin filter

On my previous 06 G35 I replaced the plugs at 106k miles with belts hoses and coolant flush. That was the first major service except for oil and filter changes which I did my self

Really well. runs great and no issues other than maintenance and new tires.
Will need brakes shortly too.
but I want to head off whatever i can - so i'm trying to decide do i need to spend $800 to $1,000 on the 90,000 mile service.

I would suggest swapping your drive fluids (front and rear differential, transfer case, and transmission).

A friend of mine changed these fluids on his 2011 G37x with 65,000 miles and I was surprised at how much the fluids have broken down. He also claims that the car shifts smoother and is a bit more responsive.

I am performing this exact service sometime this week or into next week.

Other than that, check all your belts and hoses, ensure your brakes look good. Other than that, have them lube your front and rear sway bushings, change oil and filter, check/change cabin air filter as well as the engine air intake filters and call it a day.

You can do some of the service yourself if you want to save money. like change out your own cabin air filter and your engine filter. That might be like $50 buck off the service bill.
