Help Tow Hook Size and Measurement
Hey fellow sedan owners! I just recently got into a small accident and now the car is in the shop getting front bumper and front lip spoiler refinished and painted. This time I do not want them drilled holes in the front bumper so I just order a stillen front license plate relocation kit and was ask by stillen to take some measurements top ensure I get the kit and clears the bumper and lip spoiler. I have a 2011 G37xS sedan with the OEM aerodynamic package, I need to find out:
1. diameter of the threads (in MM) of the tow hook, 16mm , 22mm, or 24mm
2. length of the tow hook excluding the threaded section (in Inches).
3. Measurement of how far the tow hook post protrudes from the bumper in inches after it is completely screwed in.
I know the person on this post https://www.myg37.com/forums/g-s-fs/...ly-loaded.html , has the kit im looking for but it seems he/she hasn't logged on in a while.. If anyone has done this before and have the measurements or part # for the right stillen kit for my car it would be greatly appreciated! Thank You!!

24mm is the thread size (at least for the 08 Sedan). On my 08 Sedan, I used a PTUNING, 08-11 GTR kit without issue. Fully adjustable. The ones I tried for the G37's all stuck out too much from the bumper.
All I did was purchase another tow hook for the G37 and chopped half the eyelet of the hook off and welded a bracket on. Painted it black and called it a day. Cheap and worked out great.
