Jut bought my G 2 weeks ago. Any Advice?

I just bought this 2009 G37x with 62k miles. Any advice to a newbie? I got an oil change. I have a cabin filter replacement coming and my engine filters look clean. I have the very basic no packages. Any ideas on upgrading the regular speakers not the bose ones? Also, I bought an OBDII reader and it told me there is a very small leak somewhere Any ideas?

Welcome to the forum. Did you get a code that told you about the leak, or did it just say you have a leak. Share as much info as possible and someone can probably tell you what that code means.

As for upgrades, have you seen the Carsmo ***** yet? I'd suggest that you start off small, and then start spending the big bucks going into Spring/summer

If you have the regular audio and not Bose, you can use these adapters to upgrade your audio

PVC Speaker Adapters - CNC Machined - In Stock or Custom Made

If you want to add an amp or anything else, I can help with that also.

Well I have some weird news. After i went to the dealer this morning (I left the ODBII plugged in) it doesn't light up anymore. Could they have disabled it?

Anyway, I went through my phone history and found it. The code was P0456.

That code means: EVAP Control System Leak Detected Very Small Leak

Maybe your fuel cap was loose?

I can check that but i doubt it was the gas cap. Now that I think about it I can smell gas from outside of the car. I thought it was just the exhaust.

Swaybars. It should be the very first thing every G owner does. If you only do one thing to this car ever, get aftermarket swaybars.

If you only do two things to this car ever, get aftermarket swaybars and top-quality 3-season performance tires.
