G37x

Just bought a 2013 G37X, and was wanting to know how the AWD works, the salesman told me it was not all wheel drive all the time, just when the back started to slip then the fronts kicked in. Is this correct? Love the car so far. I had a 370Z I traded in and this one feels almost as fast. Thanks in advance.

The car is rear wheel drive 90% to 98% of the time, the AWD kicks in as needed. The snow button makes it more sensitive in the rain or snow.

Awd

Thanks so much for the info, for now all I am going to do is replace the tires with a set of Michelin Pilot A/S3 and tint the windows. Thanks again for the help.
