interior trim kit

Has anyone had any experience with the kits from this website? http://www.dashkitmall.com

the previous owners of my car did not take care of the trim at all and it isn't in any condition to be painted over so vinyl is the only option I can think of.

Looking at your profile you have 2012 which is very likely still under full warranty. Just fyi my dealer replaced my scratched up trims free under bumper to bumper without me complaining about it. lots of things can happen with full warranty. Be nice to the service reps and see what can be done. Good luck

If it's just the washi-trimmed parts it's pretty easy to DIY the wrap. Here's a little thread on mine, but there's quite a few on this site. If you need to do all the trim parts listed on that link then it might be worth the kit price. The armrests w/ the window buttons aren't much fun

Yes it is vinyl overlays.

Newt, the only pieces that need to be repaired are the two front door pieces, glove box, and the piece to the left of the steering wheel. I do like the fact that the kit comes with everything though.

Mouse, I never considered asking the dealership. I'll think about that, but I was planning on changing it up anyways with either black or silver carbon fiber......

All the pieces that you listed along w/ everything else that I did (stereo and shifter console) took a single 1 ft x5ft section of vinyl, I got this piece from metrorestyling for about $20. And like I mentioned, some of those other trim pieces would be a real be-atch to lay down.

Well my wife and her parents own/run an embroidery and screen printing business and my wife also does vinyl so I have access to it for cheap and she has the machine to cut it if I get exact measurements. I've been on her about getting me some vinyl for the chrome trim around my Windows.

Oh yeah, I forgot you had access to that machine
Of course the amount I used will be much less than if you go w/ a carbon pattern since you have different weave patterns to match up, probably need about 4x that amount
