Where to buy OEM splash guards ??
Hello to all proud G owners,
I just purchased the 2012 G37 a few weeks ago, and am looking for splash guards. I live in Seattle and it rains a lot here. I did some research on this forum but not a lot of luck.
Where do you guys buy splash guards if your new car doesn't come with it? Or, do you have a good place to buy OEM parts? I used to own a FX35 and bought quite a bit from Mossy Nissan, but their prices are not competitve any more.
Thanks so much, guys!
Michael

I ordered a set for my 2010 Journey sedan. Price was right, installation was fairly straightforward, but spend some time reading the instructions. The kit provides a set of templates for both Sport and non-Sport variants, front and rear fenders. You have to cut them out, tape them in place, then drill the appropriate holes. Then move to the opposite side, flip the template over and repeat.
Make sure you order the right year, and there are minor differences between years that make the instructions seem confusing at times.
When I was done, it seemed really simple, but lying on the garage floor under the car trying to match tempates to sheet metal got a bit frustrating.
Finished product looks and works great.

Thanks SO much, guys. This forum certainly has many helpful members. Let me check out each site carefully. I am looking for "liquid platium (silver)" color for my 2012 sedan (non-sport).
In the past, I was able to find used unpainted OEM splash guards for my Honda for about $40-50. It looks like these painted ones will hurt my wallet a bit more ...
=) I will look into this one! Thanks,

^ i don't have any recent photos, but yes that is the general idea. they are lower profile guards, not big mud flaps, so they don't stop all spray. they would also help rock chips on the lower rocker panels if you drive on gravel roads.
as for tire dressing - i recommend applying it with a foam applicator pad. this greatly reduces flinging the dressing up and onto the body panels.
