Exclamation Paypal hacked

sorry guys not sure where this goes but I'm sure the mods will help me in this one so everyone knows. SO I watching the news on Wednesday night on how these hackers for Europe hacked into the USAs websites , I got a strange text this morning from Google about a suspicious logging attempt to my google account . I didn't think much of it just thought it was weird and was at like 6 am so I still was half a sleep. So I login in to my Paypal tonight to send funds to buy a part from the Z forum and BAM funds stolen from me at 610am this morning and some damn charge to I fn tunes !!! Are you kidding me! Just opens claim with pp . Check my bank account and CC's those are fine just my pp credit card .
Just hope everyone that reads this checks their account .

I don't have a paypal account.
I do not use a debit card
I use a credit card for all my purchases.
Anyone that does not accept credit card payment I do not do business with them.

Change all passwords.. I did this on my yahoo email after getting spam which normally doesn't appear.
This was a huge security threat with billions of user name and passwords stolen.

My PP was hacked a couple years ago as I was stupid and used the same password on other accounts. Luckily they give you that 48hr window (I think that's what it is) and they sent the email about withdrawing funds and I was able to stop the transaction.
Needless to say my PP account gets password changes regularly now

Same here, when I bought my exhaust 2 weeks ago, I said I didn't want to go through pay pal and the vendor sent me an invoice and I then paid it through their web site.
