Ticking sound from the engine

lately ive been hearing a small ticking sound from my engine when i open the hood and i didnt really notice it before.. i was wondering if its the camshafts making tht sound or something else

sub'd i have similar issues but the dealer says all is normal.

Mine ticks too. At one point I was concerned.

It's normal. I've heard using Synthetic oil or Nissan Esther oil helps mute the ticking. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Mine doesnt, I get you though...typically known as the sound of death!

If it matters my past honda, mazda, and wifes juke have the same clicking sound
