The madness continues....Qs everywhere

A CEO who travels between companies is just a visionless CEO looking for job.. so sad Infiniti spent tons money hiring this guy who debadged the brand from G to Q.. totally wrong strategy, I'm sure Carlos Gohsan had a headache and confusion just like many of us did..

GM still has no switch fix for half-million Cadillacs
Three weeks after a recall and telling dealers not to sell them, General Motors continues to look for a way to fix an ignition switch risk in half a million Cadillacs.
"We're still working on it," GM spokesman Alan Adler said Monday, noting that it's unclear how long it will take to find a solution.
The ignition switches in 554,328 Cadillacs from the 2004-2014 model years can move out of the "run" position for two reasons: Heavy key rings can pull the switch out of "run" if the car is jarred by severe bumps; and the driver's knee can bump the key and knock the switch out of position.

Wow those limited options for the G define the phrase "putting out to pasture"
And that much for a CTS is laughable, do they know the S4 exists?

What CTS starts at $56K? The V series?
CTS with 3.6L starts as low as $37K (but after you add options it can be much higher, however the S4 is no different in that aspect)
As far as Q50 sales causing him to jump ship, all the numbers show the Q50 sold as good or better than the G for its first year (even comparing month to month). Its not like they are volume sales cars....Infiniti is still a "luxury" brand where people will opt to pay less and just get a Nissan, Honda or Toyota instead of the Infiniti, Acura or Lexus
While we on this forum understand the true differences ("my Maxima is just a cheaper version of the G/Q50, right?") I dont think most of the buying public have any idea.

the 2.0T starts at $46k
At any rate pretty high, but getting 10k off sticker probably wouldn't take too much work

Only the name will change
In fall of 2014, the Infiniti G Sedan will become the Infiniti Q40 – delivering the same exhilarating performance and style you’ve come to expect from Infiniti.

What makes it a G Sedan will make it the Q40
You know the luxury. You know the performance.

I've seen very few Q50's on the road. Based on that very unscientific observation, it seems to be an unpopular car (around here). But lets be honest, there's nothing about the Q50 that makes you take notice. So it's entirely possible there are more of them out there than it seems, simply because they're so inconspicuous.
Personally, if I wanted inconspicuous, I'd buy an old Mercury Marauder, or a 2006 GTO.

There are hardly any on the roads here and they have been available for over a year now. My sales manager said the car is selling horribly. It is the JX, erm QX60, QX80, used Gs and other used cars that are keeping the dealer afloat currently. Their bread and butter is no more.
