Thanks for the awesome time!

Hey guys,

I have been a member for two years now and it has been a blast reading and learning a lot about the g37 and cars in general. I love my g37 but did not really enjoy the slush box automatic and really wanted a manual. With that being said I was finally able to find my dream car and finally picked it up!

It is an 2011 Audi S4 6MT with advanced key, Bang and Olufsen sound, Nav, Blind spot assist, Quattro sport differential, and silk nappa leather black/red combo.

Thank you blnewt for recommending me to get the top speed exhaust for the g37 as it definitely made the car more fun to drive. Thank you Rochester for always making any post you comment on very entertaining. Hopefully I come back to Infiniti in the future...or maybe some of you will switch over. In the end Both brands are amazing and I am excited for the Q60 redesign.

Goodbye for now!

Here are some photos of the car and my old car.

Can't say I blame you one bit on getting the S4. It's a beautiful car and a blast to drive.

Congrats

Great car. I looked hard at an S4 before I got the G. The back seat was tight for my kids and I couldn't justify the extra smiles (The Audi is nicer) for the extra dollars.

Congrats!

VQHRLover,

I test drove a 2011 S4 6MT last summer ... platinum gray color. They wanted more than I was willing to pay considering the mileage, and in the end I still prefer the G's RWD platform and handling (the 6MT G is a totally different car than the xS you had), but I have to admit the Audi is a very nice car, and quicker than the G.

Have fun with it!
Greg

No problem on the exhaust recommendation. Sorry to see you moving on but gotta say you're moving up. Love the S4s and Audis in general, enjoy your new ride and check back when you can, and if you do anything new to your S4 shoot a few pics our way.
Have fun!

Thanks everyone, gsm your right that the 6MT G is a completely different car which is why I originally wanted that model but there were no more 2012's and I needed a car at the time. If I did get the 6MT G37 in the first place I wouldn't have the S4 now but I am very happy with it. The acceleration and power of this car is crazy even in stock form and the sport differential is wonderful. You literally have to fight your instinct to not let off the gas mid corner and actually floor it and it feels like the car is rotating and begins to oversteer. The car without this option doesn't handle nearly as well so that may of been the reason you preferred the 6MT handling. I still think the steering feel of the g37 is better but thats about it for now. The manual gearbox is wonderful and the clutch feel and throws are great. Having a supercharged v6 is very fun to have...... oh... and surprisingly I get better mileage on this car too.. about 330 miles from a 60L tank compared to the 300 i got from our 75L tank.

I will still be on the forums though as Rochester stated he is here all week :P.

One more photo, love the LED headlamp design. One thing that the Q50 also does well.

Yeah it is aggressive and I guess I'm one of the people who like the LED DRL's :P. Yes that is the parents 6th gen max, used to forum creep on maxima.org as well and actually wanted a 7th gen nissan maxima but nope, they had to add that god awful CVT. This is my first german car as Ive always been a nissan/infiniti fan.
