Stillen spoiler installed-finally

So I have had this spoiler since last fall, finally got around to installing (had it installed once before but didnt feel like it was secured). This time I put alittle extra something on the chrome piece itself to aid in the adhesion (Silicone adhesvie sealant). Shes tight, like a rock secure now. Heres some pics, its currently plasti dipped in my usual..anthracite color.

Love it! I want to replace my chrome trunk trim as well and this would be perfect. Going to look into getting one now. Thanks

Ohhhhh. I see it now! I thought it was covering it too. Oops. Hmm have to reconsider since my goal was to do away with the chrome completely. Thanks again.

I like that model Stillen spoiler itself, but not the dip on a white car. The black(ish) trunk spoiler doesn't at all look like something that could be OEM. It looks, well... like plastidip. And the selective debadge is really awkward looking because the G37 is floating out there all alone and off-balance. Sorry.

However, the dipped lower bumper area looks fantastic. I wouldn't mind seeing more pics of that. It looks very similar to my vinyl job, which is far from perfect in my eyes, so seeing another similar approach could be helpful. (This feels kind of deja vu.)

Off-topic to your spoiler, I know. But still in the same neighborhood, eh?

I'm torn between painting the stillen spoiler(and chrome piece) all moonlight white. I like the contrast alittle but in the end, I want a more OE look. I agree that right now it just ...looks...dipped. Also agree that the lower portion of my bumper will be staying as this is a perfect area to contrast per say. As far as the floating "G37" I like it, i didnt want to debadge it because I didnt want some idiot walking over to me at the gas station and saying "nice try modding a G25"... even though I could just pop the hood or maybe lay into the pedal some to prove them wrong.

What other options are there for keeping my "G37".. or do you recommend putting something back onto the trunk..?

I wouldn't worry about someone calling it a G25, because I honestly believe no one even knows what a G25 is. If you're concerned about random strangers not knowing what your car is, odds are they'll think it's an Altima, and their opinions are unimportant anyway.

My suggestion on the spoiler? Paint it Moonlight white, and leave the chrome piece either chrome, or plastidipped to match the difuser area. Probably the later, since you've found something you like.

For the badges... I would put either the Fuji, or the INFINITI letters, (or both) back on the trunk and centered, and ditch the G37. Since it's not an "x", or a "S", or even a "xS", then the statement made is that you have a base-model G37. Not that there's anything wrong with that, just nothing to write home about either. All that aside, it's really the lack of design balance that looks awkward. Another option is to just go commando, and not have any badges. Personally, I think just the Fuji, all by itself and properly located... that would look good.

Few people have just the INFINITI letters, sans Fuji and G37, but that's an interesting and unique look, too.

More pics on the difuser area, please. And I'm glad you didn't get butthurt on my criticisms. I've always thought negative comments are fine and productive, as long as there's explanation and discussion.

I think all white is a win. If I choose to balance out the rear, it will be commando for sure.. the "G37" was actually reinstalled so i hope that the adhesive I used doesn't hurt the paint (basic 3M emblem adhesive). Oh, I like any and all feedback, no butthurtness here. I prefer the opinions of fellow enthusiasts because most of us have good taste.

Let me get some pics up of the lower bumper (this might be after work if not sometime around my lunchbreak).

Well... all white might not be a win if the trunk is completely bare.

No rush on your pics. I'm subbed, and not going anywhere for years, unless the car gets whacked or something.

Here's mine, for perspective on another MW. Vinyl wrapped difuser area, debadged G37S, OEM trunk spoiler.

That's so much better than my corners. But then, the vinyl shop butchered the job, and I had to go to a second place to clean it up.

Well done, Paratrooper.

Another member, Antodiaz's car. Looks better with both spoiler and chrome piece matched in MW.

I'm thinking Mt. Fuji on the trunk, nothing else.. and all MW spoiler and trunk piece.
