Can I join the front lip club too?

2012 OB G37x

Just installed on my freshly painted bumper and installed my midnight black grill.

Midnight Black Grill with the front lip is a nice upgrade on the OB car; that looks really balanced aesthetically.

Nice, I've been debating this front spoiler for the journey and I think your pic just convinced me.

I'd say go for it! It really helps your G look less generic from the rest and if the 'S' conversion is out of the budget.

I'll be taking more pics soon so whoever is sitting on the fence about this can get a better idea.

What's involved in installation? align and drill holes then mount? Difficulty level?

Interesting. It doesn't look like the lip sits any lower than the stock setup. That's encouraging as one of the things that has limited my interest is the fact I was worried about dragging the lip and destroying it over time.

When you buy the lip you're provided with a set of instructions and a template you cut out and mask onto your bumper. The template tells you where to center punch the drill holes. Then you start drilling. Mounting can be tricky because at first I thought I had drilled the holes on the side in the wrong location. However, everything really just snapped into place; when you start to pull the double sided tape make sure you expose it all at every point where it touches your bumper, i've seem to forgot the ones under the fog light (woops) and while you're peeling it. Be very SLOW.

If you have all the tools and the patience it's quite easy and straight forward.
Just make sure you double check your work after each step to make sure you're doing it right.

It also asks for a 10mm drill bit which i substitute for a 3/8".

Just be careful with curbs. This was taken today at starbucks, I've had maybe 0.5 cm clearance.

Thanks, Yours might be bit different since I have the XS sport bumper. Probably same deal though I'd imagine?

I'd imagine so. Everything fits into place and as long as you follow the template and instructions you'll be golden.

That's a pretty tall curb. I'm guessing the stock fascia would be at about the same level with a curb that size.
