Help on NA configuration

Hey guys! Just bought my '11 G37x last month and best decision I've made! I love the car! I also love this site it's super informative. I have a question though, I saw some NA configurations on the site but most were for the 6MT. I have 7AT and was wondering what would be the best NA set up? I would go FI but I want to still have a reliable car (and it's my DD) and I won't be racing it on track or anything. What would you guys recommend? Thanks!

MODDING 411 - MyG37

Check the modding 411 and research what you want from there. see what intakes they have and look them up, see what kind of exhausts they have and research what they look like and sound like and so on. I like my stillen Gen 3 intakes, fast intentions exhaus and resonated high flow cats with my uprev tune, some one might like the complete opposite. research and see what you find.

Welcome to the forum, agree with Vizard.

I've got Gen 3's, Motordyne M370 upper intake manifold, nonresonated high flow cats, and Fast Intentions catback. If you want max power, I suppose theoretically the highest horsepower setup would be long tube cold air intakes like the stillens, an upper intake manifold like Motordyne or Z1, long tube headers from Fast Intentions, and a reputable catback exhaust. All that + install will probably cost you as much as a turbo or supercharger kit.

Very good info provided above.

Your situation reminds me of mine. I would suggest the following for a enhanced dd experience:
R2c cai 450
Cat back by fast intentions/similar 700?
Rear sway bar from rwd coupe 160
UpRev tune 350

1700 in parts. At least 300 for install. Plus shipping. Possible taxes. ~$2500 and probably looking at moving from 245/250 whp to 270 optimistically?

High flow cats (450) will Def open up power but to noisy for me. Or a cheaper option is a test pipe which the tune should fix any check engine lights.
