Bolt on G37x sedan 7at vs 370Z 6mt

Ok guys I've been a member of this site for about a year and got my 2010 G37x sedan about 8 months ago (love it). You guys have answered so many questions for me about what bolt ons work and what performance parts to get for my car and Ive never needed to post anything since it seems like every topic possible has a thread with answers hahaha. Ive done a lot of searching though this forum and my370z forum and cant get a good answer. I have a friend I went to High School with who got a 2012 370z 6mt he knows nothing about cars and isnt going to do anything to the car (mommy and daddy bought it) As I stated earlier I have a 2010 G37x Sedan which i just started modding. I currently just have the ARK CBE which i bought off of gpg37x (great guy) I plain on having these mods
-ARK CBE
-Fast intentions HFC
-Stillen Gen 3 CAI
-M370 intake manifold
-UpRev tune

From my research these mods would bring me slightly past 300 whp. (Im 20 and a junior in college i work 40 hours a week i dont have the cash for a sc or tt)

My question is would my G37 with thoese mods beat a stock 370z? power to weights are almost even so my guess it would be a drivers race but idk what do you guys think?

Sorry its lengthy

my sedan (i believe) is 3800 pounds roughly and the 370Z is 3400 pounds roughly so by thoese weights and a stock 370 putting 285 to the wheels and my G putting 310 to the wheels the power to weights are super close if my numbers are correct of course no numbers are 100% accurate

Your G puts about 270 to the wheels. You might be luck to get 300HP with the mods you have listed.

I know a few have went with a full Fast Intentions system, intake, maybe intake manifold, and a tune have have net +40HP. It's all depends on the tune and the vehicle.

Too many factors... RWD vs AWD, stick vs. sludgebox, weight, tires, track conditions, adrenalin, experience. My money is on the Z, mods to your car notwithstanding. But GL with the race. Should be pretty even.

Aren't street racing threads locked down pretty quick around here? GL with that, too.

There's some irony in you mocking him that "mommy and daddy" bought his car, in the same conversation you're asking about street racing, but hey... hard to get through the day without at least one juicy rationalization.

Well im not trying to say im just great because im young and pay for my own car its just i think when your parents buy you your car you appreciate it a lot less than if you work your *** off for it. Im also not promoting street racing its just an honest question and doesnt have a straight answer so its obviously a good one. And if you were in the stands on a drag strip im sure itd be a good race

He's not a car guy but got the z in 6spd ? If so I would think you should be able to take him, I bet he would probably miss 3rd gear or something. Other than that I would think the Z should take you, even with those mods. It would probably be by like a fender if I had to guess.

I think the Z would edge you out, if he can drive it.

Z's are pretty quick cars and tend to trap much higher in the 1/4 than an X sedan. Weight is an advantage of around 3300lbs for the 370 as well. Hope he can't drive stick and you get him hard on the launch. Auto has the advantage of an easy launch with no missed shifts.

I'm pretty sure the z will win. G37 is a great car and all but imo most of the cars it competes with, are faster. However from what you wrote about your friend you should be able to easily take him 'cause it seems like he isn't a good driver.
