Shop (in Boston) Recommendation--[Lowering Springs Install]

I'm looking to install lowering springs on my G37xS coupe. Does anyone know of any good shop in Boston that does good work at a reasonable rate? Please let me know. Thanks a bunch!

Also, I'm looking at the Eibach Pro-Kit springs. Is there any other brand that I should also look at? I just want to get rid of the 4x4 stance.

I called and talked to John today. Thanks, William! I decided to go with his suggestion (H&R springs). The springs are on order now.

I finally got the springs installed today. John did a great job! Thanks for your referral, William. I am happy with the result. By the way, these are actually the Eibach Pro-Kit springs. John wasn't able to get the H&R ones.

Looks good!
I spoke to John last week and he told me that H&R doesn't have the springs for your G, so he went ahead and got Eibach Pro.

Goonz~
As far as Swifts goes...John doesn't know anything about them...I'm his first Swifts customer...he's into H&R.
Probably because he can't get the Swifts for a good price, but he can on H&R and Eibach!
On previous vehicles I've had H&R, Eibach, Neuspeed & Tein...Swifts are the best out of all of them.

If you have a V36 G37x sedan, Swifts are the "only" springs that are specifically designed for it...no other brand does.

Nice drop for the coupe. How long did the install take? Any creaks or uneasiness? I had my sways installed w/john and while it was affordable, he didn't neccesarily pay attention to the directions creating extra hassle. I'm hesitant to have my springs installed as I want everything buttoned up so to speak.

I dropped the car off late Friday afternoon (due to my work schedule on Sat morning). It was done around noon on Sat. It shouldn't take more than 3-4 hrs. I originally made an appt for Sat morning.

There are no unusual noises, rattles, creaks or squeaks. I normally drive with my music on, but I had the stereo off when driving home after the install. The ride is firmer and a tad bumpier (expected), but otherwise quiet. I've had lowering springs on my previous cars, including the RX-8 in the pics, so I have some experience.

From talking to and dealing with John, my impression is that he'll be receptive to your concerns with the sway install. He did a good job on my spring install. Give him another try.

Overall I think he is good, and a nice guy. As I further modify the suspension, I just want to be assured it is done right not something to take chances with. I may give him a call for the springs.

John has done majority of my installs...including the rear sway & Swift springs.
He might talk a lot of "you know", but he really knows his stuff.
He's been in the business for a while...
You need to know he's old school and sometimes doesn't follow directions very well and does it his own way.
At other shops, they just have you wait outside while they do the install...not knowing what they are doing to your car.

He's always came through for me when I needed something done or fixed...even if it wasn't his work.

His work speaks for itself...his salesmanship is another story!

Goonz, yes, I'm going to install the SPC camber kits (front & rear) and 20 mm spacers (front & rear). I'm still undecided as to which brand spacers to get.

I recommend going with B2Design 20mm Hub Centric Bolt On Spacers from Charles.
I've had mine for almost a year and a half...so far so good.
Just recent change out my wheels and no issues with the B2Design spacers.

If you want peace of mind and have $$$ in wallet, then go H&R.
